I have been working since last week. Have been enjoying life of a none working mother since 2006. I loved it. I've decided that I want to start work again this year although the pay won't be as good as my friends who have been working ever since they finished studying.
The old me would compare and be frustrated about it but I've developed a habit of not comparing other peoples lives to mine. If I have more than 1 kid, I wouldn't compare them which is the best and which is not. They are equally the same in a unique way. Now that I've found a job, I am happy earning my own money although my husband can provide for us 3 but it feels so much better be able to contribute what ever I can do to the society. :D
Due to weighing responsibilities at work and chores at home, Alhamdulillah I still can afford to weight train after work(mostly due to my husbands push!!). Only that it's been changed to Saturday, Monday, Wednesday. Hubby has a bit of an injury on his fingers when he slipped down the stairs during a heavy rain. He received 2 stitches on his arm and an injection of antibiotics. He could still help me carry the barbell! What a dear husband he is.
By the way, I do need to upgrade my gym stuffs. I need 20kg(10kg each), a thick mat to support the barbells to which I found in One Utama and a barbell rack(don't see it anywhere, hubby is planning to ask the tukang buat grill to customize it but I am SCARED that they won't do it properly :P). Someone is going to be papa kedana!!
Oh man, I love this training. I am totally fascinated with barbell exercises. I'm carrying almost 30++kgs for squats, adding 2.5kg on every time I carry the weight. I'm running out of plates!
