2010 Training Session 2 (Week 9)

Decided to make a whole new week even though Ramadhan is tomorrow. Exercise is exercise. Will jot down any exercise I've done during Ramadhan even if it's keciput. I need to complete my 12 weeks! I feel mcm frust menonggeng gilak if I won't be able to finish the last 4 weeks. Geram ohh!!!

Coincidentally, the 13th week will be the week of Aidilfitri. Alhamdulillah. Can eat rendang and kari and pulut and all the fattening Malay foooooooood that I love so much yummy!!!


Mon 9/8 - Chest, Biceps - Done 

  • There's an eBook you can download for free if you know how to find it *wink wink*. It's called Eat Stop Eat. Here's the review from StrongLifts. It's about how you exercise while you fast. Although currently I don't intend to do any strenuous exercise during Ramadhan but it's an interesting read to know what are the advantages of exercising while you fast from other people's view- the none Islamic view... they say knowledge IS power. 
  • Of course as a Muslim, we know stories of how our Prophet(S.A.W)  won the battle even during fasting. It made them stronger than ever... Sesungguhnya puasa itu satu mukjizat bukan?
Tue 10/8 - Plyometrics P90X - Done
  • I didn't know that PUSH UPS are so FREAKING HARD! 
  • Looking at people mcm kacang tapi mau buat separuh mati....
  • Doing my best today. Still wondering what exercise to do during Ramadhan. I just cannot simply not do any exercise now. 
  • Most probably interval running right before iftar InsyaAllah! 15-17 minutes only. Hilanglah muscle if lari sahaja... Hmmmmmm...
Wed 11/8 - Plyometrics P90X - Done
  • I can only do 17 minutes today! Exercised after I ate kurma, 1 cup of kordial sarsi, 1 cup of milk, a bit of water and solat Maghrib while hubby is in masjid Al-Ghufran.
  • Will try and weight lift tomorrow at the same time since I'm all alooone in the house.
  • Btw, this is my first exercise during Ramadhan EVER!
Thu 12/8 - Triceps, Back - Done
  • Did my normal routine. 12,10, 8 reps. 3 muscle exercises for each Triceps and Back. I think I need more challenging reps later after Ramadhan. It's getting pretty easy and bored. Berat sudah tambah tapi, ndakkan tambah berat jak... tercabut nanti tangan.
  • Just now during weight training, I was pretty dizzy. Not enough energy. I exercised around 613pm and had to wait 50 more minutes after that. SANDIIIIIII.
Fri 13/8 - Shoulders - Done
  • I think I'll be doing a 5 day workout during Ramadhan. I hate it when I feel so out of energy.
