2010 Training Session 2 (Week 8)

I've bought myself a cheaper scaling machine from Tesco which costs around RM79.90. I said cheaper because usually I'll get myself yang dalam harga RM100++-RM200++. Mostly it will tahan within a year. Never one year and a half or one year and a quarter. Sometimes even worse, within 9 months of using. I think it's due to the climate where we're living. Dalam hutan and atas bukit. So after this, I'll only buy less than RM100 scale. The RM 20 scales have fooled me before. Dia cakap my weight was 60kgs. Tengok-tengok it was 80kgs... Long time ago. Tu la, terus perasan kurus ni.

Anyways, say whatever you wanna say but with a scale at hand, I feel so relieved. I don't feel so lost and can keep track of my progress. I had some emotional meltdown at the end of the year and wasn't exercising and ate too much. I gained weight back again and now I am really really trying hard to discipline myself to exercise for life. I've decided back in March that exercising is a must in my life and to reach that goal of being fit and looking good what makes me really happy.

There's so many relapse of weight gain in my life. I hate it so much. But I have a feeling this is it. It's gonna happen and I'm going to reach my goal this time. I'll try as hard as I can to make weight training/cardio on a daily basis(with 1 or 2 days rest each week). Whatever happens, I'll keep going on slow and steady till I reach my goal. There is no stopping because I'm feeling lazy. There is no stopping because something stressful happens in my life. Usually when I feel stressful I would stop exercising and eat eat eat for a couple of months. BIDAAAAK!!!(Ugly).

I did plyo for almost 30 minutes, 3 times last week(Monday. Wednesday, Friday) and that was the only cardio I did. I stopped running daily on my elliptical. I also reduced my carbs. Abandoned rice and replaced it with fibrous carbs and a bit of pasta. I was on a plateau for I don't know how long but somehow I lost 3kgs last week. Rock on! Later when my weight is a bit CHANTIK I will share how much I weigh ngehehehehe... jahat oh kan.

Mon 2/8 -  Chest, Biceps - Done
  • Ack! I made the wrong decision when I decided to do grocery shopping today. I went to Ikano today because I was soooo excited about ToysRUs that was opened on 30th July. I specifically searched for Thomas section and of course la I found it :). My son loves Thomas very much and sometimes I'm so malas to go to One Utama ToysRUs to buy his trains. I was immersed with the toys there and went back a bit late. So no time to do plyo cause I had to do other house work and pick up my son...etc.
  • Please do grocery shopping on Tuesday and Thursday only! 


Tue 3/8 - Interval Running 15 mins, Calves, Quads, Hams - Done
  • Alamak! Plyo pagi and then petang weight lift kaki! I hope I'll make it through........
  • Did interval running instead. Went on a movie date with hubs in the morning.
Wed 4/8 - Plyo 30 minutes - Done
  • Happy week! My face and waist is getting smaller. Additionally, my boobs too... uwaaaaaa. My thighs are having those lines again. The sign that I'm SHIRNKING!!!
  • I have quit buying 3 in 1 drinks(Nescafe Gold/Milo/Teh Tarik) at home. I will only drink sweet drinks if I eat outside. 
  • I'm adapting to my new eating habit. So many temptations. While cooking and eating. I just have the need to eat so much!!!    
  • At last did 30 minutes of plyo. 180 degree jumps(from front to back) where crazy and also the twist jumps ski moves(jump with feet together left, straight, right for 30 seconds). My heartbeat was so fast! Awesome workout! 
Fri 6/8 - Back, Triceps, Cardio X(35 mins) - Done
  • Did Cardio X for 35 minutes. Whole video was 44 minutes. Alang2 kan. 
  • Yesterday jalan2 and didn't exercise. Bad girl!!! Consider yesterday rest day lah.
  • I think I will do a 90 day P90X program after Raya since I have the FULL program in my hands.  Plyo X is so addictive. I like it better than Cardio X cause Plyo X is more challenging... it hurts so much more!
Sat 7/8 - Interval running(17 mins)  - Done

  • Ever since I started P90X Plyo/Cardio in the morning and weight training in the afternoon, I've been flat out tired! I've been sleeping earlier too. 
  • I can't wait to buy Organic Whey Protein... if I can find one in Ego. I have a feeling my protein intake is inadequate. So pindik crita, whey protein jalan senang.
