How many calories are in my Teamix?

salam & hi...

i get a lot of questions regarding my teamix. i have answered them several times in my formspring and emails, but i can't seem to find my reply. so everytime someones asks me, i have to keep on calculating again and again (bcoz i always forgot the calorie count), it is quite tiring.

so... i'm thinking it's best to blog about it here. it'll be easier for me to track back my reply, and if anyone else asks me the same question, i can just direct them to this particular blog post. :P

as you know this is my latest contents for my teamix

1/4 tspn of teamix + 1 tspn of Psyllium Husk + 1/2 tbspn of Apple Cider Vinegar + 300 ml warm water

calories count...

a) Teamix

25g of teamix which contains 5.8 calories

1 teaspoon of teamix (1.7g) = 0.4 calories

1/2 teaspoon of teamix (0.85g) = 0.2 calories

1/4 teaspoon of teamix (0.43g) = 0.1 calories

b) Psyllium Husk

2 teaspoon of Psyllium Husk = 12 calories

1 teaspoon of Psyllium Husk = 6 calories

c) Apple Cider Vinegar (any brands)

1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar = 0 to 5 calories

1/2 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar = 0 to 2.5 calories

d) Plain Water

any amount = 0 calories

so...

1/4 tspn of teamix + 1 tspn of Psyllium Husk + 1/2 tbspn of Apple Cider Vinegar + 300 ml warm water

= 0.1 + 6 + 2.5 + 0

= 8.6 calories

total calories in my Teamix is usually 6.1 to 8.6 calories. :P

yg pasal teamix punye calorie tu kan, sy tak brp puas hati sbb kat myfitnesspal.com tulis 1 tspn teamix = 12 calories, which is WRONG!

kalo tgk kat label blkg teamix pon tulis 25 g teamix = 5.8 calories, dan 1 tspn adalah 1.7 g. so kalo reti matematik, calorie utk 1 tspn teamix kene la below 5.8 calories ye tak? bukan double..

Herbalife sendiri pon tulis kat label agak misleading/confusing (??)

25 g teamix = 5.8 calories

100 g teamix = 341 calories <- bukan ke patut 23.2 calories? darab 4.

patutnye kire mcmni..

1.7 g teamix = 1 tspn teamix

= (1.7 / 25) x 5.8

= 0.3944 calories ~ 0.4 calories

i rest my case. :))
