Before this, I'd update my progress here and here. But I think its due time to update in a new post since its getting pretty long in the other 2 blog posts. :P


I was preparing for year 2011, so I measured (this time) a lot more detail than my previous measurements. Since I'm focusing more on maintaining my weight and losing more inches, I will only record the changes in my body measurements based on difference of my initial measurements minus my updated monthly measurements.

note: i was too excited to even wait until end of month, hence the early update. the last time my weight was between 55-56 kg was last January 2011. my weight has continuously been between 56-57 kg from February to May 2011. so when my weight was suddenly below 56 kg in June, that was quite a surprise. i manage to lose another 1.1" in 10 days.

Stomach Flu. How Are You?

Oh dear me. I have been infected with stomach flu... on and off. It's horrible. My husband's bestfriend said that there was quite an epedemic of stomach flu in the UK a while ago. I'm not pointing any fingers here but since he's been living in the UK, he was having his holidays here with his wife and he's been seing a lot of my husband and both of us have it (hubs and I).... they may be carriers I tell you. Lol.

Yes, yes... I humour my readers with mean jokes amongst the people I know.

Currently been eating fruits and more fruits. Avoiding milk and coffee. Haven't tried Campbell Soup. Been missing my workouts by quite a few. I eat chicken sparingly and more fish. I still avoid red meat... since forever. I like it that way. You should try it too. I'm more of a fruitarian now than a vegan. Don't fancy veges all the time but fruits(less sweeter ones) are more delicious. Only that when it's weight training days, I try to eat rice and real protein like fish. But I eat them like twice a week(fish/chicken). Mau jadi vegan + fruitarian la konon.

Don't get me wrong, I have heavy breakfast like eggs, carbs...subway sandwich! My priorities are my heavy breakfast. Lunch(fruits) is usually lesser than breakfast and dinner(more fruits) will be the lightest. I am loving this lifestyle. I hardly binge or have the feeling of eating unhealthy food. Tapi kalau kenduri tu, tutup mata kamu saja lah... Lol!!!

Probably when my stomach flu or when I lose more weight I'll try and go back to eating chicken and seafood all the time. Isi kata hati tu sebenarnya uwaaaa....

By end of this week I'll be jobless. Ah.... just the way I like it for the moment. But I did applied for other jobs. Working with Mat Salleh's are quite challenging I tell you. This time, Malaysian employer please and thank you.

seharian mkn leftovers. ehehe. anyway, i think kelmarin kot, sy sign up myfitnesspal.com, can u believe it? selama ni sy tak penah nak gunekan food diary yg boleh kire calorie intake skali. besenye sy just refer kat database calories kat situ aje, tp tade la nak kate kire betul2. :))

dlm food database, sy dah masukkan bbrp mknn la, mcm Teamix (correct calorie count), Apam Gula Hangus, Cheese Singles (Malaysia), Tiger Cream Crackers... and more to come. Macaroni Soup tuh, mcm tak larat plak nak key in siap dgn instruction skali, so yg tu sy tak share la. but 1 serving (1 bowl) is about 272 calories.

to be honest, calorie intake sy ade yg above 1200 cals dan ade jgk yg below (2 hari je pon) . scr subconsciously (or maybe i do it purposely), sy berjaya maintain weight ni pon disbbkan cara sy tu la. weight tak jd nak turun coz dlm 1 minggu tu mesti ade 1-3 hari sy akan mkn lebih dr biasa. sbb sy akan weigh-in every week, dan based on my current weight, sy decide what should I do next.. eat more or eat less or eat about the same amount. that is how I maintain my weight, dan sbb tu la my weight tak penah terlajak jd underweight or above 58 kg (which to me is considered as RED ALERT). so weight yg nak turun dgn byk, tak jd nak turun, dia naik balik. btw, weight today 55.7 kg. esok maybe 56 kg. maybe naik 56-57 kg, pestu 55-ish balik. and so on and so forth. when u know ur body well, u should know what to do.
kalo ikutkan pd myfitnesspal.com, by the amount of what i eat (5 days worth of daily menu), my weight will be 51.2 kg in 5 weeks. that won't happen, trust me. :))

perlu diingatkan, pls consume calorie intake above 1200 calories ok? why? mcm sy ckp berkali2, kalo consume below 1200 calorie intake akan terjd bbrp perkara: (1) malnutrition (2) metabolism akan decrease (3) body akan reach diet plateau (berat static/susah nak turun) + starvation mode (body akan hibernate)

myfitnesspal.com explained it best :

Based on your total calories consumed for today, (you consumed below 1200 calories), you are eating too few calories. Not only is it difficult to receive adequate nutrition at these calorie levels, but you could also be putting your body into starvation mode. Starvation mode lowers your metabolism and makes weight loss more difficult. We suggest increasing your calorie consumption to 1,200 calories per day minimum.

i get a lot of questions regarding my teamix. i have answered them several times in my formspring and emails, but i can't seem to find my reply. so everytime someones asks me, i have to keep on calculating again and again (bcoz i always forgot the calorie count), it is quite tiring.

Herbalife sendiri pon tulis kat label agak misleading/confusing (??)

100 g teamix = 341 calories <- bukan ke patut 23.2 calories? darab 4.

29% Body Fat!

This is ridiculous... Everytime I want to start training, mestilah ada sesuatu that makes me can't exercise. For the past 2 months. I've been perfectly healthy. For the past WEEK or two ever since I started weight lifting, I've been having a cold. Reinfected... TWICE. I had food poisoning for 3 days. Hebat betul.

So far I had to skip 2 training sessions(only). Haih... Dugaan betul. Nasib baik di rumah. As for my weight loss it's coming along fine. I've ditched the weighing machine again since it's not working...... Mesti ada toyol ni di rumah kasih rosak weighing machine since the past years I've been living here.

Currently after the whole food poisoning tragedy where I got from Restoran De Maju Damansara Perdana, I've been having only fruits for lunch. Although I admit, I can't be a vegan or a fruitarian 100% all day long. Somehow I can't part with eggs. Not just yet. I love them too much. It's like what do I put with my stir fried cucumber? Eggs. What do I eat for breakfast? Eggs. Be it white eggs or whole eggs. Eggs rule. They blend it with everything.

As for eliminating gluten/ wheat in my life... Oh yes, I am trying to eliminate loads of stuff huh? Currently the gluten/wheat I take is during breakfast. No nasi lemak please! Well in case you want to know, my skin has some sort of spots appearing each time I eat rice/pasta/bread. Been like this for quite a time but decided to ignore it. Only I've taken action recently since I read that people came very weak ever since the Egyptian found wheat. Before wheat was found every one in Egypt was strong, badan sasa(big bodies), well built. Then when wheat was fed to them they became frail, tiny and less strong. I read and read and the effect of wheat towards human beings. Yes, people. I tell you I have been brain washed. Sorry no links here.

So I decided, I have to listen to my body. If I'm allergic, it means I'm not suitable to eat it so... face the fact. Life is not perfect. There are other things that I can enjoy in life other than gluten and bread :). I have to get it checked one fine day. Yeah, when it gets worse I presume :P. For now, I'll just avoid it. Or trying to avoid it... little steps as they say.
