Oh boy, this week is gonna be one long week of exercising because I screwed up on Friday night for sleeping late. I gotta do my very best from this week on because I'm about to complete my 1st session.

Move on and don't make that one mistake ruin my whole workout routine. I'm gonna prove to everybody that I can do this! I won't lie to myself and I will do my very best.


Please have enough sleep everyday this week.

Sun 2/5 (Cardio 1 & Cardio 2)Done
  • My elliptical has 8 intensities. I increased it to 4 because level 3 wasn't a challenge anymore. But at 4, my speed is lesser. I need to work harder each time I run.
Mon 3/5 (Cardio & Lower Body WT) Done
  • Too much carbs today :P
  • TBL Season 2 has started but I'm not brave enough to participate. It's gotten quite interesting!

Tue 4/5 (Cardio 1 & Cardio 2) Done
  • With my son going to school for the first time this week, I'm so beat! Padahal Tadika is just around the corner. Thinking of him going to school for the first time kinda makes my time goes by... termenung.

Wed 5/5 (Cardio & Upper Body WT) Done
  • Bought 2 x 2.5kg dumbbells.
  • Triceps weights have increased! Woohoo!

Thu 6/5 (Cardio 1 & Cardio 2) Done
  • First cardio: 16 mins intervals.
  • Second cardio: 30 minutes running.

Fri 7/5 (Cardio & Lower Body WT) Done
  • Since last night I went out and found out that my size 12 pants where loose around the thigh area, today I did some measurements. Happy with the new results! I thought the day where my pants feeling loose wouldn't come. The crazy part is that I was almost in tears last night. I think it's because of the hard work I've done to lose all that fat. I've never let myself believe that with hard workouts I could really lose those inches. When I finally gave that chance to myself, Alhamdulillah... I'm glad that's the decision I've made to improve myself and to let myself believe in me.
  • Interval cardio: 17 minutes
Sat 8/5 (Cardio 1 & Cardio 2) Done
  • Today I've been working out for 7 straight days! I'm mentally and physically tired! After this 12 weeks is done I'm gonna go to a gooood spa and pamper myself even if it takes a whole day. This momma needs some deep tissue massage lol. Thinking of going to the spa has already made me relax a bit. :)
  • Congratulations to myself for completing my 1st 7 day workout!
Sun 9/5 (Rest Rehat Relax)
I had a blast yesterday shooting with Jamie Eason. She's a little ball of energy with an amazing passion for the fitness business. We gabbed all day in between shots about healthy eats, training for competitions, and more. We totally lucked out with the weather and were able to do lots of shots outdoors. We took a lot of video too which will be featured on Oxygen's website & my website soon. The

I had a great time today but at the same time quite sad jugok uhuks... Today is Lynn last day [my sup line]. Walaupun ada macam2 makanan masuk perot hariknik, tapi hati ada sikit cedeh lah bila sorang demi sorang kuo dari department. 2 minggu lepas Suresh. Minggu nih Lynn. Ader saper2 lagik nak kuo ke minggu depan? Cakap cepat!!!

Nih yang kami makan di Pak Husin Tomyam Sg Ara, sedap, mabeles, sampai tambah nasik la budak2 laki <-- dah agak dah wahahah :))



Sebelom tuh singgah mini Sunshine dalam Agilent, beli teddy bear dengan kad sempena pemergian Lynn [uhuk2, mode sedey lagik la pulak]. Nam Weng siap nak g Queensbay Mall lagik sebab tak beli lagi hadiah. Degil nih, iskh! Tadih pagik2 aku dah msg, dia siap leh datang lenggang kangkung xbeli... Cis bedebah kau! Hiyarkh! last2 kami decide singgah ajer mini Sunshine dulu... sekali ader hadiah la pulok muhahahha... bagush2!



Masa afternoon treat, Lynn dah pelok teddy kuat2 xmo lepas. Yg besh masa kami dok decide nak bungkus dengan apa teddy bear tuh, Lynn leh masuk ketuk pintu ajak g break area, sekali dah ternampak lah hadiah tuh, abeh ilang surprise. Chaih! Last2 tak jadik boh dalam plastic. Nam Weng kasik tangan ajer. Nah! Amik nih! Wahahahah :))



Kek secret recipe all flavor. Mcm bese aku buru chocolate indulgence. Nyum nyum nyum...

Ada citer lagik sikit. Tharmen dengan Nam Weng asyik buat lawak masa makan. At the same time, luka kat muka haku dah start nak kering, so muka jadik keras sebelah. Bila buat lawak, mustilah nak gelak. Sekali sakit xleh gelak sebab kulit keras, kulit2 yang nak tertanggal tuh macam meronta2 nak jatuh ajer.. huhuhu... rasa cam nak tarik jer kulit2 kering tuh. tapi tak semua dah kering, ada sesetengahnyer masih basah melekat di kulit, so kalo tarik, mahu keriau aku kat situ.

Last2 kasik warning kat budak2 nih, U guys arrr... jangan buat lawak. I tak leh nak gelak, sakit lah! tapi di bantai nya jugak buat lawak. Grrr... tak pasal2 aku gelak pegang muka sebelah :-s. Macam tak betol ajer aku gelak, sbb dok cover muka. Orang lain semua gelak bukak semua mulut. Aku gelak pegang muka sebelah wahahah :))

Oh yer, cakap pasal mini accident, pagik2 masuk production, Tharmen tegur mata kiri haku bengkak [pulak dahhh]... kenapa aku tak rasa apa2? Aduhai... macam2 lah... kalao aku sakit, kenapa aku tak rasa mcm orang sakit? Huhuhu... tapi mmg perasan lah sumer orang dok tengok dua kali kalo selisih jalan dengan haku akekeke.

Macik cleaner pun tegor. Hah Miza! Muka kena apa? Aku jawap, jatuh macik! Macik tuh geleng2 kepala sambil cakap ish ish ish... akekekek... Adedehhh!!! Macik nih dok buat lawak pulak. Aku dah la susah nak gelak :P

In 2004, when an uptick in childhood obesity was reported there, the government responded swiftly - children between the ages of five and 12 were weighed at school and reports containing their weights and body mass indexes were sent to their parents, along with instructions explaining how to interpret the numbers. Parents then attended meetings with local physicians and dieticians about ways to prevent or reverse the trend with diet and exercise, and children were taught about portion control and good nutrition. Vending machines selling soda and snacks were banned from school campuses and exercise was encouraged. The Plan was simple, clear and effective-the obesity rate declined before stabilizing in 2007.

Since health plans benefit from people losing weight and ditching their diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia drugs, you'd think that this maybe should be part of a requirement for health insurance--mandated weigh-ins with physicians or dietitians and regular visits with dietitians and/or cognitive therapists, not just voluntary. How about tax credits for gym memberships or personal training, but only applicable with validated proof of use X times a week of gym classes, sessions, or equipment notarized and attached to tax forms. Maybe streamline the process by which persons who are morbidly obese can obtain surgical intervention, should they desire it, instead of making it an obstacle course for some. Maybe taxing junk food up the wahoo to subsidize lower prices for fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds, wholesome oils, and lean proteins? Make whole grain bread cheaper by taxing white junk bread and rolls an extra fifty cents per pack? Limiting the use of food stamps to only highly-nutritive  food items (nothing with white sugar, hydrogenated fats, excess processing with sodium, high fructose corn syrup).

I really like the idea of banning all junk food in vending machines from all government supported schools from daycare on up. I don't know if bans would fly at private schools, but there's no reason the government should be providing readily available crap for its citizenry when it's going to be the taxpayers getting the bill for obesity-related diseases and complications. If it's bad for people to smoke, and we tax the hell outta cigarettes, well, it's bad for folks to suck up snack cakes regularly or slurp sugary sodas regularly, and we should prohibitively tax that, too,and shift the revenue to activities and subsidies that encourage good eating and better health habits.

If we've got an epidemic of overeating, bad-eating, and lack of exercise, then what ideas can we come up with to make us all more aware and accountable and, as a nation, more active and better supported and, eventually, less obese from infancy on up...?

Citer sket. Harinik kan harik start keje [actually kelmarin aheheheh] tapi di sebabkan mini little accident tuh so aku xmai lah keje kelmarin. Bila mai hariknik, semua tegur muka haku bengkak dan teruk. Siap marah doctor klinik tuh kenapa tak dapat MC. Aku cakap lah doctor cakap aku tak demam tuh pasal tak dapat MC. Derang cakap un-acceptable sebab muka obviously teruk.

Erkk.. guys! Aku ok... aku rasa ok ajer huhuh :-s, terlebih concern pulak budak2 shift nih. VJ lagik lah, masuk2 jer terus terjah datang tengok muka. Dia pun tegur, nasib baik tak kena gigi <-- eh! bunyik mcm statement Sarah ajer akekeke. Geng bas sekolah ker aper nih hahaah :)) VJ pun xmai kelmarin sebab MC. Dia mmg demam. Aku cakap, kasik sket demam, I pun nak merasa MC. Dah lama tak MC, paling last MC, 2008.

Better news this time: 3 lbs down and back firmly in the 260's in last two weigh-ins this week. It was really a shock to have seen that higher number last week.

So, the ShapeLovers meals, combined with some raw food meals--and I won't deny it, some extra snacks, some not diet-friendly (Godiva chocolate, Holey Donuts)--helped. The Shapelovers meals have been generally very tasty, a few coming close to "mom's old cooking" flavors (ie, Cuban food). The salisbury steak, though, was hideous beyond words. I threw both mine and my hubby's serving away. Horrible. But the chicken fricasse and the tortellini in a creamy sage were great, as was the very low calorie Aloha Coconut dessert (like a coconut flan with some pineapple bits, sugar free and  yumsy). It's nice not cooking and having some low-cal, low-fat, low-salt meals handy (soup, entree, side, dessert). If you sign up for it, just totally skip the turkey meatballs and salisbury steak. gross....

Raw foods from Veggiemunn: The corn chowder was really, really good. I may even like it better than my previous "raw corn soup" fave from them, the corn and leek. The pear and watercress was too fibrous for my taste, but the flavor itself was quite nice. The unstir fry had good flavor, but I got crazy gas from all that raw cabbage. :P  The zucchini pasta alfredo was okay. Something about the zucchini has been less than stellar the last two weeks (ie, texture wise, not tastewise. I like it really firm to sub for pasta).

I'm considering another order from Glaser Organics--I love their nut butters, spinach pesto, hummus, and fresh coconut water. Their raw pies are yum, too, but I'm not ordering any, preferring to rely on fresh fruit.

I did order a lot of citrus from Cushman's, so I can have a nice orange or ruby red grapefruit with breakfast. The tangerines locally have been lovely and are amazing juiced.

I have had pizza cravings, but haven't ordered any. I think I'm gonna get me some whole grain pita and just make one at home with part-skim mozza and marinara and some mushrooms.

I really don't feel like cooking or food shopping (hence the healthier delivery options), but I need to get back making some meals. I can only really successfully lose when I plan and control my own meals and snacks according to my own eating desires (not some pre-made menu's).

Hope everyone out there is happy and getting healthier and finding ways to meet health goals. I'm still fumbling, but at least the scale is moving properly downwards, making up still for eating booboos that had me regaining...

Banyak ooo aku makan. 3 slice pizza + 3 pcs BBQ wings tuh kawan2. Ngeri2. Sejak balik dari gunung, aku makan banyak. Nasi macam biasa, tapi aku macam lebih protien :-s, tak tahu kenapa. So kalo kat cafe Agilent, kalo boleh nak 2 ayam, atau 1 ayam 1 telur... tak ker masalah problemos tuh.

Vj cakap, pacat nih kasik active hormon selera makan ker? Kalo yer, dia nak carik 1 hisap kaki dier, dia nak put on weight sket! Chaih! Hampeh lah tuh. Erk, betol ker pacat kasik aku kuat makan? bahaya nih... rules hiking #2, jangan hiking tempat ada pacat akekekek >:)

Sepatutnya janji dengan Abob dan Isma jumpa di KAYU nak lunch. Sekali abob xdapat datang atas sebab2 yg tak dapat di elakkan. Last2 aku makan berdua dengan Isma. Isma dah masuk bulan ke 8 ngandung nih, huhuhu... kesian pulak aku tgk dia datang dari seberang nak makan di KAYU. Silap2 terberanak dalam KAYU cemana wahahah :)). Jadik anak KAYU, leh makan hari2 free akekeke.

Isma tunjuk video2 dia amik masa Syirah main bola la, start posing depan camera la, macam2 lah... yg besh, kalo Syirah dah start nampak Isma pegang phone, dia nak tgk bender dalam phone tuh la-la tuh jugak. Mustilah kosong xder aper, dah main picture bergerak, tak sempat snap pon akekeke. Ciri2 kelakian terserlah huhuhu, ganas sungguh. Kasik phone suruh buat aksi pegang tepon, sekali di hempuknyer tepon, nasib tak pecah meja. Kuat giler dier hempas tepon tuh atas meja <-- aku tahu lah, aku tgk video tuh wahahah :))

Dah lama tak balik Teluk Intan, nanti nak ikut Isma balik lah masa dia balik bersalin jeng jeng jeng... apekah? :-s

Sebelom publish menu 1 minggu direct malam nih, nak bagitau, I had a little mini tiny accident semalam akekeke... just in the middle of workout, tertiba ter-collapse pulak. Abeh berdarah sudah bibir dengan mulut ku yang mungil itu hihihi. Nothing to worry. Dah g doctor, doctor cakap aku kurang gula ajer, so kena makan gula banyak2 lah lepas nih wahahaha :)). Siap cakap keep on workout :-s ... bagus betol doctor tuh.

BTW, mini accident nih ada similarity sikit dengan kembar ahehehe... tadaaa... camera dia lagik canggih so nampak clear wound tuh. Aku pakai hanset kaput ajer, boleh lah nak layan...

After spending a very adventurous day in NYC, my husband & I zipped off to Miami for a few more television appearances. The video above is from my appearance on the WSFL Morning Show. I also appeared on South Florida Today, but I can't seem to find the link at this time.
