Cheap Meal Replacement: Omega Soy

Bought the cheapest meal replacement powder, Omega Soy over the weekend for RM30++. I thought I could have a full day without a solid meal but could not. Ended up drinking only one shake. I would have to change my diet slowly at first so that my body can adapt.

I'm feeling very energetic this week compared to the other weeks where I didn't do any exercise. I love the feeling. Today's cardio day and I did manage to run even though I didn't went to the gym to run on the elliptical. Well, I can tell that running without a machine sucks big time. I hate it because it's painful and I feel that I don't get the most out of my running today.

Journaling my Diets and Workouts

Finally after putting some thought, I finally made this blog a reality. Since I've always wrote about various diets that I've experimented and workouts it's better to be written down in a specific blog so that I will sound less pathetic and whiny of my overweight body in my main blog.

So to begin with here's my weight loss ups and downs in short since 2005...

My husband and I discovered resistance training around 2005 after someone recommended us a book entitled Body for Life. I wasn't really desperate before this because my resistance training was doing fine and I was already losing so much weight after 9 months of working out(12kgs in 9 months). My weight went down to 60kgs and then, I got pregnant.

During my third trimester, my weight was around 90kgs plus and postpartum weight was 85kgs. After my son was 6 months old, I was strong enough to start resistance training again and that my c-section was better.

One year later which is now, my weight is around 68kgs-70kgs. Early March this year my doctor told I had pre-hypertension where my high blood pressure was around 131. That was indeed a wake up call for me. At that time I had stopped eating healthily since October 2007 and wasn't even exercising, ate high fat foods(you can imagine all the coconut milk I ate everyday with rice), apart from that was really stressed out about everything. I admit I wasn't happy with my life. I felt I was trapped being a mother and wasn't even earning money and didn't have a life although pretty much I denied it. Sigh, how sad.

After pretty much sorting everything out with my life which was really difficult to deal with, I finally found myself again and now focusing on all the goodness in life so that I'll live a happy life with the soul and body that God has given to me.

I will become fit again soon...real soon and I'm going to share it with the whole world of my journey. Even if I've reached my goal one day, the journey never ends. I will take each and every chance that I have to eat healthily and to workout till the day I expire :D
